Irelsy Rivera, DMD
Dr. Irelsy Rivera, DMD, MSD is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced fellowship training in facial cosmetic surgery. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve both functional and aesthetically balanced results through personalized, compassionate care. A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Rivera is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to build meaningful relationships with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, where she also completed her rigorous residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Driven by her passion for facial aesthetics and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Rivera pursued advanced international fellowship training in facial cosmetic surgery in Mexico under the mentorship of a renowned facial cosmetic surgeon. She later completed specialized fellowship training in advanced rhinoplasty techniques with Dr. Teoman Dogan, in Istanbul, Turkey, further expanding her expertise in facial harmony and refinement.
Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS), Dr. Rivera has extensive training in jaw corrective surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, implant reconstruction, facial trauma and reconstruction, anesthesia, and head and neck benign pathology.
She believes that successful surgery is built on a balance of technical precision, artistry, and individualized treatment planning. Every procedure is thoughtfully designed to enhance facial harmony and function while preserving each patient’s unique features.
